About the Organization

Dabz (Dads Against Bluez) Is a movement established from a father’s perspective having lived a life of gangs, addiction and incarceration. Not realizing at the time the choices he made may have felt like survival, but in hindsight, tore apart everything he loved. The deepest wound would not come from prison or the streets, but from losing his daughter to fentanyl. Despite his hope that she would make different choices, unfortunately, the cycle repeated. She grew up watching his struggles and now those struggles had become her own.

Dads Against Bluez realizes the importance of informing, educating, and communicating the dangers of this deadly drug. The role a father plays is of extreme importance to his family, so much so, that it affects our next generation. It affects our kids! Our next generation is being wiped out! Our kids need their dads, and our dads need their kids... Dads Against Bluez can help reconcile those relationships while recovering from addiction through resources, rehabilitation, reconnecting, mentorship, leadership coaching, and the right support. We believe we can make a difference in our community by standing up against Fentanyl.

While supporting those who want to conquer their past and giving hope to the lost and becoming a beacon of light to families in need. Long periods of time spent incarcerated or separated from your children may have put a strain on your family. In some cases, your own kids may be addicts now. How can we stop the cycle of insanity? How can we have any chance at saving a family? Creating a support system for dads and the Youth is something (DABZ) would emphasize on. When is enough, enough?

We need our community to step up. We need dads to step up and help support. United we stand! Let's fight against fentanyl and save our next generation. Our kids are depending on us!
